Balidhum is a remote village in the Dharmanagar sub-division of North Tripura District of Tripura state. Balidhum is an ADC (Autonomous District Council) Village approx 5kms from Dharmanagar the district town of North Tripura and one of the major villages in the Autonomous District Council of Tripura.

Balidhum is small village located in Dharmanagar of North Tripura district, Tripura with total 327 families residing. The Balidhum village has population of 1500 of which 759 are males while 741 are females as per Population Census 2011.

In Balidhum village population of children with age 0-6 is 280 which makes up 18.67 % of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Balidhum village is 976 which are higher than Tripura state average of 960. Child Sex Ratio for the Balidhum as per census is 1029, higher than Tripura average of 957.
